Keith Jarvis

Keith is the Golf Channel Academy Lead Coach at Core Golf Performance, a 4,000-square foot, state-of-the-art indoor training facility in Oakland, NJ.

Jarvis’ professional playing and coaching career spans more than 30 years. He is a former Lead Instructor with ESPN Golf Schools, and was a member of the instructional team in 2006 when Hank Haney was Dean of Instruction and also Tiger Woods’ swing coach. Keith has taken lessons from Haney and his staff since the early 1980s, and has attended Haney’s “Teaching the Teacher” courses. In addiiton to Haney, he has also worked with Butch Harmon, Andy Plummer, Mike Bennett and renowned short-game guru James Sieckmann.

A U.S. Kid’s Golf Certified Instructor, Jarvis’ many other certifications include several with Titleist Performance Institute (TPI Golf Fitness 1, Golf Coach 2, Junior Coach 2 and Golf Mechanics Level 2). He is also a Golfing Machine Authorized Instructor, K-Vest Level 2 Authorized Instructor, Stack and Tilt Authorized Instructor and TrackMan and Blast Motion Certified Instructor.

Keith strongly believes that golf’s “New Fundamentals”—what the best players in the world have in common—a clear understanding of the ball flight laws and a Tour-caliber short game are the keys to playing your best golf in the shortest amount of time.
